During butt surgery, Applications such as butt lift, shaping, enlargement, and reduction, regulation of hip lines, cupping and shaping in the waist cavity, and removal of excess hips are performed together. Aesthetic and Plastic Surgeons can make the ideal shape recommendation for the operation because of the evaluations made specifically for the person’s health and body structure. Since this plastic surgery is performed in line with individual demands in order to have the person’s dream body appearance, it is a personalized operation.
How is it done?
Brazilian buttock surgery can be performed using the person’s own fat tissues, or it can be performed using silicone buttock prostheses. The method in which the person’s own adipose tissue is used has been preferred more frequently recently.
The first stage of buttock surgery, which is performed using the person’s own fat tissue, is the fat removal stage with the liposuction method. At this stage, excess fat tissues from the belly and waist area are removed by vaser or laser liposuction technique. Then these fat tissues are injected into the buttock. In this way, a more upright and shaped hip appearance is obtained, while unwanted fat in the body is eliminated. In operations performed using silicone prosthesis, the required size of silicone prosthesis is placed under the skin in a way that does not damage the butt tissue, according to the intervention in the hip area.
The fat removal method called “liposuction” is commonly used for butt reduction and butt lift applications. In this procedure, excess fat tissue from the hip is removed. The skin is then sutured to stand taut and upright. Fat removal cannot be performed; In cases where the hip tissue is reduced and the tissue seems to have collapsed in, the hip can be erected only with the skin suspension method without reducing the tissue. Thus, it is ensured that the person achieves the desired appearance.
Before Surgery
It is important that the person is willing and psychologically ready for a successful surgery. The examinations of the Aesthetic Surgeon and the demands of the person are decided on the technique to be used during the surgery. Before the surgery, the health tests deemed necessary by the doctor will be applied. The surgery will be performed under general anesthesia. The rules that the person must follow before coming to the surgery:
- If you are a smoker, do not smoke for at least 24 hours before surgery.
- Stop alcohol consumption 1 week before the operation.
- Stop using blood thinners. If you have used it, be sure to inform your doctor.
- If you have a chronic disease, tell your doctor before surgery.

After the Brazilian butt lift operation, the person is kept under the supervision of the hospital for 1 day. For the next 3 days should lie down and rest. From the 4th day, the patient begins to return to his normal life. It can be moved without damaging the seams, and bathing and daily work can be done. Also, sitting is not a problem. In the first week after the operation, redness, swelling and bruising may be seen in the butt area. After the first month, these scars completely disappear and regain their natural and new shape.
As a result of excessive weight loss, flattening occurs in the butt area. Because the fats melted in the body are also lost in the butt area. These weakened people may not be suitable for fat injection. Special silicone butt prostheses create rounded lines in the hip areas of people who lose excess weight.
Filling materials used in buttock aesthetics do not contain allergenic substances. For this reason, butt shaping can be done safely with filling materials. Butt aesthetics with filling materials are permanent for about 6 years. This period may be longer for people who pay attention to their movements.
